TIP: Hotkeys and the Numeric key pad
Switching between numbers and hot keys
With a standard keyboard, Dolphin access software uses the Numeric Key Pad for some of the hotkeys. If you find you still need to use the Numeric Key Pad to enter numbers on your computer, you do not need to reassign all these hotkeys.
For version 5.0x users:
- Press LEFT CONTROL+SPACEBAR to open the Control Panel.
- Tab to "System Setup" and press ENTER.
- Tab to "Num lock toggles numpad hotkeys on/off"
- Ensure it is selected, and if not use SPACEBAR to select it.
- Tab to "Close" and press ENTER.
For version 6, 7, 8 and 9 users:
- Press LEFT CONTROL+SPACEBAR to open the Control Panel.
- Open the Configuration Menu with ALT+C
- Cursor down to "Miscellaneous" and press ENTER to open the sub menu.
- Cursor down to "Num Lock on enables Number Pad keys". Ensure it is selected, and if not use SPACEBAR to select it.
You will now find that with Num Lock off you can use your hotkeys and with Num Lock on you can enter numbers.
