SaySo allows you to scan physical documents such letters or worksheets, and image based documents such as PDFs, and have them read back to you.

To scan a physical document you need to have a scanner connected to your computer of laptop.

To set up a scanner, plug the scanner into your computer. Then, select settings from the SaySo toolbar, select the scan tab at the bottom left of the settings window, and then select ‘run scanner setup wizard’.

Follow the on screen instructions to set up your scanner.

Click OK to exit SaySo settings.

To Scan a physical document, make sure the document you wish to scan has been placed in your canner. Then simply select ‘Scan’ from the saySo toolbar, and then select ‘From a Scanner’. You can name your scanned Document, which will be saved in your My Documents folder when you click OK. You multiple pages by selecting ‘Add more pages’ once the first page has been scanned.

To scan an image based document simply select the scan button from the SaySo toolbar, and then select ‘from a file’. Select the file you wish to scan. You can also name your scanned file, which will be saved in your My Documents folder when you click OK.

Scanned documents and files will be saved as Microsoft word documents. Once the Document or has file has been scanned it will be opened, and SaySo will start reading.
