You can customise the screen colours using a number of preset schemes or your own choices. This shows SuperNova magnifying with the screen colours changed to white text on black.

Overview mode allows you to see where your magnified area is in relation to the "real" screen.
Margin release adds some extra blank space around the edges of your real screen. As you approach the edges of the real screen, your mouse is able to remain in the central area of your monitor.
