Q0252: Are there any known compatibility issues with Dolphin software in conjunction with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista?
The problem:
Are there any known compatibility issues with Dolphin software in conjunction with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista?
The solution
Version 8.03 and higher of Supernova/Hal/Lunar/LunarPlus supports Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 installed. If you are running version 8.01 or 8.02, you can obtain a free patch to update your software to version 8.03 by running the “Update from Internet” option in your Dolphin product’s control panel.
Dolphin worked closely with Microsoft during the beta testing of Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista, and as such we have been able to ensure our latest software releases are compatible with the changes implemented in the Service Pack.
Dolphin would recommend that (as with all service packs) you only download and install full, released versions of the software. We advise against installing beta versions or “release candidates” if running access software.
Please contact Dolphin’s Product Support help desk should you have any queries regarding Windows Vista Service Pack 1 in conjunction with Dolphin software.
