We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Worcester-based testing team to assist with quality assurance against accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure an inclusive user experience and compliance with relevant legislation. What sort of work might you be doing?

Your role will be varied right from the start, growing in responsibility as you progress. Types of responsibilities you might be tasked with include:

  • Test and audit Dolphin software and digital content to ensure that it complies with accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Coordinate end-user testing of Dolphhin assistive technology. 
  • Prepare and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure interoperability between assistive technologies and mainstream technologies
  • Written reports that provide feedback to developers and project teams

What experience do you need?

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C in English and Mathematics)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products and operating systems
  • Good troubleshooting knowledge of hardware and software issues
  • Knowledge of assistive technology is desirable.

Training to be provided:

Level 4 (Higher National Certificate) apprenticeship qualification.

Optional - International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) Foundation Software Testing certification.
